The 77th Republic Day celebrations at the Kartvya Path on Monday (January 26, 2026) focused on the theme of the 150th Anniversary of the national song, Vande Mataram, a timeless mantra that stirred the spirit of Swadeshi, self-reliance, and freedom in India's national consciousness.

COONOOR
M. SIVAKUMAR, SUB INSPECTOR OF POLICE, CBCID. presided over the celebration of Republic Day at our Home in Balaclava, Coonoor, surrounded by the elderly people of our Home in Coonoor.
After hoisting the flag, the Sub-Inspector went around to visit the elderly residents in their dining tooms.
BANGALORE ST JOSEPH
After Mass all the Residents and the Little Sisters were assembled in the front garden to celebrate the Republic day. Father Naveen Kumar ofm and our Resident priest Father Stany Mariappa were present.
After prayers for the country and for its leaders the flag was hoisted followed by "Jana Gana Mana" the National Anthem.
