Recent Events at Jabalpur - Little Sisters of the Poor!

THE WORLD ELDERS DAY - 26, JULY 2022

The day began with the festive mood. Prayers were offered for our elderly Residents so also for all the elderly of the whole world. Beautiful decorations were put up in the dining hall, garden and on the notice board. Delicious breakfast was served to them and a tasty chicken meal they enjoy with other eateries - such as cakes, chocolates, fruits etc.

At 5 pm games were organised - throwing the ball in the bucket, bombing the city, passing the cushion etc. The day ended with a light and healthy dinner.

FEAST OF SAINT JEANNE JUGAN - AUGUST 30, 2022

The feast of our Mother Foundress Saint Jeanne Jugan was celebrated on August 30, 2022 at our Home in Jabalpur as is in all the Homes of the Little Sisters of the Poor.

The Residents had a nice day with delicious meals. Benefactors distributed water bottles to each one of them as a gift.

In the afternoon, the elderly folks enacted the life of our Mother Foundress with the help of Little Sisters. Let us say with her always, "Blessed be God" "Thank you my God" "Glory be to God"!
