PRESENCE OF YOUTH ON GOOD SHEPHERD SUNDAY -WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS - 26TH APRIL 2026

On the joyful occasion of Good Shepherd Sunday and the World Day of Prayer for Vocations, the Little Sisters were blessed to welcome the Catholic Youth Movement of the Archdiocese of Calcutta to their Home.

Sixteen young people from different parishes assisted the Residents to the chapel, accompanying those using wheelchairs and walkers. The youth lovingly organized and animated the 10:00 a.m. liturgy, taking care of the readings, offertory procession, choir, and hymns. The Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Gnana Peppin, diocesan and former Youth Director, who reflected in his homily on the Good Shepherd and the call to serve with love and commitment.
After Mass, they spent quality time with the elderly through conversations, singing, and joyful interaction, and later served lunch with great care and respect.
The Residents deeply appreciated their presence and joyful spirit, expressing gratitude and inviting them to visit again. As a gesture of love and generosity, the youth also presented an envelope to the Mother Superior before departing with happy hearts.
