Senior Citizens Festival – Festival of Humanity
As part of the Festival of Humanity, a special Senior Citizens Festival was held on 8th January 2026 at Nandan Football Ground, Austin Town.
Around 120 senior citizens from different Homes for the Aged, enthusiastically participated in the programme. The event included interactive activities, games and moments of cultural engagement, creating an atmosphere of joy, respect, and togetherness. Fifty elderly Residents were accompanied by few Little Sisters of the Poor from Bangalore St Joseph participated in the event.
The festival beautifully reflected the spirit of care, dignity, inclusion, and humanity, celebrating the invaluable contribution of senior citizens to our community.
At the end of the program a delicious meal was served which everyone enjoyed. The bus which was provided by Haris team brought back our Residents Home safely. We ask God bless Mr. Haris and his team for reaching out to all classes of peoples, which shows respect, dignity and care. to all human beings.
