Painting session conducted by Rashmi Kothari!

This video is to show a small event that took place in our home where Rashmi Kothari, came and provided painting equipment for the 10 of the elderly. She taught them how to paint, which made the residents very happy to do something different than the ordinary. Rashmi takes great pleasure in making them paint. Certainly she will do the same in the future.

Picnic at Radiant Resort in Bannerghatta, Bangalore!

Every year we arrange a picnic for our elderly Residents during the month of January. Not being able to find a suitable place for a picnic we were wondering how to go about. It is thanks to a priest who introduced to us the director of the Radiant Resort, Mr Herbert E. Thadathil (Harrys), who was willing to welcome our Residents. The picnic was fixed for February 20th, 2019. The buses were sponsored by Mr Haris, MLA of Bangalore. The buses were there at 8,30 am on 20th February at our gate. Actor John Abraham's surprise visit to elderly at Mumbai!

John Abraham, one of the famous actors in Mumbai had surprised us with his short visit on Christmas day, December 25th 2018. As our residents were finishing their Lunch, they were told to be seated in the dining room for a surprise visit. John Abraham came with his wife Priya Runchal and his Mother Farhan Abraham, to visit the residents. He was very simple and went around, wished everyone, distributed gifts and Christmas socks with biscuits. He also gave a cheque of Rs1,00,000/- for the reconstruction of our home. May God bless him and his dear ones abundantly!

The Active participation of the elderly Residents at Fancy Dress Competition at Secunderabd!

On the 30th Aug 2018 the feast of our Mother Foundress Saint Jeanne Jugan, the elderly Residents performed fancy dress competition at 4 p.m.in the Multi-Purpose Hall. Even the ones who were in the wheelchairs participated in it. All the little Sisters with the help of Jeanne Jugan Associates took at heart to dress the Residents. It was very exciting for all to see as each one of our Residents performed their part so well , the Judges had a hard time to decide who would be the 1st and the 2nd …. and so on.
